Kurtinecz is an American multidisciplinary artist and Creative Director based in Tokyo, specializing in digital art, Extended Reality (XR), and immersive media. Their work bridges concept, technology, and narrative; merging fine art foundations with emerging tools such as 3D rendering, AR/VR, and virtual worlds to craft emotionally resonant, future-facing experiences.
As a Creative Director, Kurtinecz leads projects from ideation through execution, shaping visual worlds and immersive systems for both cultural institutions and global brands. Their work has been exhibited internationally at platforms including SXSW and ARS Electronica, and includes the curation and direction of experimental virtual exhibitions such as Japansylvania!. They have collaborated with major brands including Nike, contributing to boundary-pushing campaigns that fuse art, fashion, and technology.
Kurtinecz graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, with a concentration in Painting and Time-Based Experimental Media.
